Yuri is a taciturn and reserved individual hardly ever speaking unless being spoken to though when he does it is very clean that he is well spoken and certainly doesn't shy away from using his more extensive vocabulary. He extraordinarily cunning and often has little trouble with mental tasks and if given the right materials he should have no trouble solving a problem. Generally speaking Yuri is a very calm and collected person and hardly ever lets himself openly succumb to emotional impulses, he prides himself in being exact, precise, and able to complete tasks with expert skills.

While his first impression may hint at him being more of a 'cool' character Yuri can actually be extraordinarily awkward when trying to get closer to people. Bibliography: 
Taken from his parents when he was a young child Yuri remembers nothing of his parents nor any possible siblings. He was raised by a band of mercenaries where he spend most of his life being trained in various areas of combat. With the military type training drilled into him Yuri had become nothing more than a hollow killing machine.

He lived this way until the age of seventeen until the mercenary group eventually managed to tangled up with providing service to one of the kafka's little science projects. When the Circus got involved in eliminating the varuga many of the other soldiers were slaughtered or ran and with Yuri being the only one left and being able to hold himself well in combat he was offered a place in the Circus and having nowhere else to go he accepted.

With his neurotic behavior Yuri was immediately sent to spend time under the doctor's supervision to become assimilated back into societal standards for a few months. And while he is no longer kept under supervision he has to to be reevaluated every month to check if his behavior is stable, along with the assistance of 'supplements' to control his neurosis.

Despite his initial impression of being passive and quiet Makoto is actually quite sharp and sarcastic often never failing to match someone with a quick remark or quip. He has also been know to be very to the point and quick with his words, hardly ever hesitating to say what's on his mind. He has never been one to hesitate in speech or thought hardly ever bothering to go through the extensive measures of thinking of other's feelings or emotions. This has also been shown through his stubborn and fiery nature that can spark whenever he is arguing against someone, though his has been noted to be insubordinate just for the hell of it at times. While his stubbornness is mostly used to lower others and help him get his way it has been known to double as headstrong determination when he is trying to complete a task. Biography:
Makoto was born on a chilly winter day in Seoul, Korea to an upper class family with both of his parent being heads of thriving companies. Though their marriage was nothing more than a marriage of convenience in order to merge the two companies and his birth later just a shot at producing an heir. Saying that it's really no surprise that he hardly ever saw either of the two except for when he was dressed up and forced to go to events. While most children would have acted out and craved their parents' attention Makoto never bothered with such trivial matters often focusing his attention towards the staff of the house. He would often challenge himself to do such things as manipulate his caretaker to let him do as he wished, cause arguments among the maids, and bring subtle hints of havoc wherever he went. As he got older he quickly outgrew bothering with the people around him and began investing his time in training himself intellectually as he found more interest in such matters that challenged him rather than the simple flick of his wrist it took to manipulate the simpleminded staff. 

When Makoto turned 15 he moved with his mother to Ikebukuro after his mother and father decided to make an unofficial split between the two leaving his father to live in Seoul by himself. He bared no resistance to the move considering that for the most part the apartment they lived in was more than enough room for the two. Though he did continue his antisocial tendencies as he got into high school often choosing to spend his time off alone in the library than with anyone else. The day that he was paired with Izaya Orihara for a project changed all of that. While initially Makoto didn't take to the other he gradually began to enjoy his presence and before he knew it he began getting roped into the future information broker's antics.

Having grown quite fond of Ikebukuro when the time came for him and his mother to move back to Seoul Makoto decided to stay in the town. From there his interests gradually shifted away from academics towards causing trouble with Izaya and eventually towards taking up hacking professionally and later using the skills he obtained to start trouble of his own.

Personality:  Yukiko is a typically laid back person and is usually rather hard to stress out or set off course often taking his time to do a task thoroughly and correct even if that means that he has to push himself a little more to get it done on time. Because of his relaxed nature he tends to be a little spacey and will often be caught with his head in the clouds, which may not sounds all that bad but has in fact caused the male to be rather absent minded and will often end up with him forgetting his things, walking right past people/things he’s looking for, or even walking straight into walls. Though he still manages to keep a light attitude as he often is a more cheery person even if he doesn’t have the energy levels to match up with Nishinoya. History/Past: Yukiko was born the youngest out of set of twins to an upper middle class family who worked in business and after he turned two his parents began their constant moving across Japan usually never staying in one place longer than two months. The male didn’t exactly have a typical childhood considering the fact that him and his parents often left the duo in the care of babysitters and nannies only managing to see the two a handful of times during his time living with them. They simply lived on a philosophy of everything would be okay as long as they could still manage to buy the two’s affection. Despite spending quite a bit of time with his sibling during his childhood him and his sister’s contradicting personalities seemed to only form the two into rivals. Their parents having had a marriage of convenience meant that they weren't exactly the best couple and even meant that they would fight quite a bit but it wasn't until Yukito was about fifteen that their fights had become a more common thing. Which of course took about a year of family and marriage counseling before the marriage ended in a ball of flames in which the two eventually got a divorce. Going his separate way the two’s father left them in the custody of their mother and the occasional child support payment. Though without the second income their moving around came to an end and Yukito eventually ended up settling down. Even if his mother has instead taken up travel fees and often leaves him and his sister behind Yukito has managed to make the best of his situation finding just about anyway to stay out of the house by joining after school activities.

Not initially taking volleyball as his first choice of activity Yukiko took up basketball it was through this he met Iwaizumi who managed to show him the way to where they were having practice for the team. Though initially Yukiko didn’t take to Iwaizumi at first the two ended up becoming rather good friends after some time. While the male managed to make the basketball team it didn’t last long considering that after Iwaizumi was able to convince him to give the sport a shot. Being skeptical at first Yukiko was surprised that he ended up enjoying the sport and even ended up giving up basketball to join the volleyball club.
